The current study investigated the impact of instrumental music training on reading comprehension, working memory, and executive function in elementary school children Greece. A series studies suggested possibility a cognitive advantage from training. For purpose present 80, were evaluated. experimental group consisted 40 students 5th grade with at least 5 years control who did not have any two groups examined memory measurements Wechsler Intelligence Scale for (WISC-III; Digit Forward Recall), Stoop Test, which is an evaluation comprehension test. ability both participants was evaluated standardized test Greek population Test-A. Children registered higher performances tests all reflecting possible compared to without results attempt shed light link between abilities comprehension.
